First few letters are cut off in your downloaded audio clip?

Why the beginning & end of the audio clip sounds like they are cut off

Updated over a week ago

We often hear this from our Windows users:

"My audio clips are cut off in the beginning, and they end before finishing the sentence."

However, this usually happens when the audio player is a bit slow in processing.

The best solution to this is changing the audio player. The default Windows media player (Groove or Windows Media Player) seems to skip the first second or two when initially launched, so we recommend downloading foobar for more optimal listening experiences. [Click to visit foobar]

Also, if you are using typecast audio clips for video editing, you will see that the audio clips are not cut off in either end, or have too much silence before or after the actual speech.

However, if you did download a faulty audio file, please contact us to share the file for examination.
